📕Case Overview
We release simulated log files crafted around story-driven cybercrime scenarios. These challenges span various types of attacks and log sources. As an investigator, your mission is to dive into the narrative, analyze the digital artifacts, uncover the root cause, and identify the suspects — all based on the storyline and answer to the questions asked
📂 What You’ll Receive Upon Joining:
- 🔐 Access to one detailed story file (docx|pdf) and logs(.xslx)
- 📁 You'll receive supporting logs such as domain controller events, email gateway records, firewall activity logs, and detailed payloads.
- 📝 A challenge form to submit your findings
- 🏆 Entry into the public leaderboard (only top solvers displayed)
💰 Entry Fee: ₹50
This nominal fee helps us continue developing high-quality challenges and realistic simulation environments. Access to the current week's case will be provided within one day prior to the challenge.
By joining the contest, you'll gain practical knowledge of SOC operations, log analysis techniques, and the investigative process for uncovering the root cause of real-world security incidents.
Participants who demonstrate strong investigative skills by correctly answering the questions and pinpointing the root cause will have a chance to win a ₹500 Amazon voucher.
